Hello family and friends!

On Saturday I hit my half way mark and I am amazed by how fast my mission has gone by. I have met the most amazing people, I’m allowed the privilege to speak Hungarian and I am so grateful I have the opportunity to serve and be a part of the Lords work.

Many miracles happened over the course of this week. We have been teaching a girl named Fani who is in her early 20′s. She is darling and is searching for the truth. We taught her about Gods plan and at the end she said, “Well that is really happy! I love it!” She is determined and willing to pray.

An investigator invited us over to teach her some English and we ended up getting free mustache waxes in return. Later in the week she taught us how to make Hungarian styled donuts called “Fánk”. It’s dough cooked in oil, rolled in powdered sugar and served with jam. Let’s just say they are nothing like American donuts and eating one will most likely give you heart attack.

This Sunday was quite a miracle! Our investigator, Annamaria has been having a hard time coming to church this past year. We had a wonderful lesson with her this week and the spirit was so strong. We asked if we could walk with her to church on Sunday and she said YES! That was a miracle. Sunday morning we walked together to church and once we got there, to our surprise…. 11 less active members were at church! Including a less active family we met with over the last 2 weeks. “We want to change, we are ready to come back!” they said. Talk about miracles!!

God has a plan for ever one of us. I wish I could describe to you how much I LOVE this gospel. It has blessed my life in so many ways. I know that if we live our life the way we should, we will be happy and that’s what God has promised to us. I know that if we really want to know if something is true, you can pray to a loving Heavenly Father who knows you perfectly! We are nothing without Him. We really need Him.

Thank you all for everything! I love you all so much!!

All my love, Whittaker Nővér
